Kajetan Kajetanowicz is forced to modify his scheduled plan for South American World Rally Championship rounds. The Polish driver took a difficult and responsible call and after long analysis decided to withdraw his entry for Rally Chile. His fight for victory in Rally Argentina was scuppered by a failure and the problems with car, not related to the company which prepares and services the car, needs to be resolved. The LOTOS Rally Team crew led the rally ahead of this failure.
– Unfortunately I am forced to take an extremely difficult decision to withdraw our entry for the next World Rally Championship round, in Chile. Our team returns to Poland after Rally Argentina. I decided that we will take part in one of the forthcoming rallies when the car manufacturer provides safe and permanent solutions to genuine problems. We will not shorten our WRC programme and I will choose another rally instead. I am responsible for every single member of our team and I really care about trust of my partners who believe in me. I know that we are in extremely good shape and our pace in Tour de Corse and Rally Argentina was excellent but I stopped thinking about rallies as a way of living my dream a long time ago. Let me assure all LOTOS Rally Team fans that nothing has changed – we are and we will be ready to fight, because as you all know we turn all difficult situation into motivation.
