Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Maciej Szczepaniak start their fifth season in the World Rally Championship in Croatia. The LOTOS Rally Team duo compete for WRC2 laurels – with both factory and private crews merged now in this category. Last season the Polish crew won this event at their first attempt. The challenge is bigger this year but for sure they are ready to fight for victory.
No less than 29 crews have entered Croatia Rally in the WRC2 Open category – with drivers who have experience with factory teams in top WRC category, such as Stéphane Lefebvre and Eric Camilli. The impressive entry list promise an exciting weekend on Croatian roads, with great support of #TeamKajto fans who proudly fly Polish white and red flags along the stages.
– The real competition starts tomorrow but I can already feel the thrill. The weather can throw some surprises at us – we start with some rain but it should get dry later. That’s why our tyre choice and suspension settings will be crucial. However, I am ready for this challenge. I was waiting for this start for many weeks. We worked really hard with our LOTOS Rally Team in order to enjoy every kilometre of competition during this event. I hope we can provide our fans – who arrived here in great numbers – with plenty of fun. Keep you fingers crossed for us!
– says Kajetan Kajetanowicz, the LOTOS Rally Team driver.
