After successful first loop on Saturday – in the morning Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Maciej Szczepaniak recorded top five stage times in the WRC-2 standings of Rally Wales GB – the second loop ended up in an unfortunate fashion.
The LOTOS Rally Team crew were forced to retire due to transmission failure on special stage fourteen. The Polish duo had to return to the service park, where their mechanics took care of the car – enabling the crew to return to the action tomorrow.
Sunday consists of five special stages: Alwen (10.41 kms, at 8:28 and 12:10 CET), Brenig (6.43 kms, at 9:08 and 13:18) and Great Orme (4.74 kms, at 10:26). The competition in the 2019 Wales Rally GB comes to an end around 14:00 CET.
Starts of Kajetan Kajetanowicz are supported by strategic partner of the LOTOS Rally Team – Grupa LOTOS – as well as Delphi Technologies, Driving Experience and Pirelli.
